Mini Scalloped Flower Headband

I found some more adorable felt flower tutorials at Craftiness is not Optional and decided to make another headband using the mini scalloped felt flowers tutorial there.

Supplies:

Felt

Felt Pen or Sharpie

Circle to trace

1/4″ elastic

Scissors

Glue (I recommend hot glue)

You will need 3 scalloped felt flowers. I just searched for scalloped flowers online and traced half of one onto a piece of computer paper. Fold the paper in half and cut it out. This will help make it symmetrical. If you can find a clip art one then you can just print it out. Trace the scalloped flower onto the color felt of your choice and cut them out (I cut right at the line so the flowers would have a hint of pink on them).

Cut a spiral into the flower.

Then begin rolling the flower from the outside to the inside, gluing the spiraled edge as you go along.

When you get to the end, tuck the middle circle under the flower. I don’t have a picture, but the tutorial I used does. You should end up with a cute little flower like this.

Glue the flowers onto the sewn elastic and cover the back with a piece of felt as I did in the tutorial for the felt circle flower headband.

Have a great weekend!
